Pola:

1. V1 + adjective/adverb + please:

- ‘Sit down, please’

- ‘ Please, sit down’

+ will you (please):

- Move a bit, will you?’

- ‘Come here, will you please?’

2. “be” + adjective/adverb + please / will you (please):

- ‘Be silent, please!’

- ‘Don’t be noisy, will you?’

- ‘Please be patient!’

3. V1 + O + please / will you (please):

- ‘Please lend me your pen.’

- Don’t tease her, p;ease.’

- ‘Lend me some money, will you?’

4. Do / would you mind + V.ing:

- “Would you mind opening the window?”

- “Do you mind passing the salt?”

EXAMPLE:

1. Doctor : Sit down, please. What can I do for you?

Patient : Would you mind examining my stomach? It’s very painful.

Doctor : All right. Now, please sit down here.
